The house by the woods

At the edge of a small village in a beautiful setting, we designed a residential house. There arealready two existing buildings forming a courtyard. A path leads through the courtyard past the entrance and the terrace towards the garden. The outbuilding “Marof” protects the yard from the road. The house, oriented towards the south is right next to the forest. We referred to Slovenian traditional farms and upgraded it with contemporary details, and a contemporary interpretation timber construction and façade.
