Physiotherapy Pavilion
The annex of the therapy gym is designed in the narrow interspace between two wings as a distinctive building expressing itself in all three dimensions. It resembles a body which, having lain down on the 30-metre stretch between two existing buildings, branches into two offshoots once it reaches the park, each featuring a large window looking onto greenery. The facade is made of grey fibre cement panels; the 5th facade – the roofscape – is covered in pebble stone. The interior follows the elongated shape, which is appropriate for the organisation of two main activities, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. A pleasant atmosphere is created by plentiful and even lighting, including ceiling lighting, the variegated ceiling, views of tree canopies, and the tactility of wood surfaces.
